How long, approximately, can you leave a 488 without the battery conditioner plugged in and it still start?

Or charge it 24/7 and it still may fail. Ask me how I know?

Going on 2 years, and no problem.

Don't even know where my Ferrari OEM battery conditioner is, to be honest.

It’s the unintended consequence of enjoying your Ferrari everyday, or nearly everyday.

Most owners experience that their car needs to be on the trickler (almost) always.

Reason: there seem to be over 100 small ECU's in our 458. And a trickler only trickles ...

So I chucked away that thing and use one from our local shop that charges up to 6 Amps if needed.

    No more problems ... here.

if you start your car every day or every other day for a bit, you should be fine for a long time. Ive noticed the need to plug in the trickle charger after the battery gets slightly older say 2 years +..I only plug it in when I know I won't be starting the car for over a week or so.

I try to drive every week...but still leave it on the trickle charger. My battery is now almost a year old. My 2019 went into service October 2018 and the factory battery was still working but showing signs of weakening after 2yrs so I replaced it with a Interstage AMG. Longest for me is 3 days not on the charger but I was driving it everyday for those 3-4 days.
