    Any experience with charging problems with the inside plug engines? I heard the generator doesn't spin fast enough in this design, thus the charging problem. Thanks.

    I've never had any problem but I have a battery quick disconnect that I always disconnect after driving. Never a problem charging while driving though.

    I have the same disconnect. Drove the car in the fog for an hour with the lights on and the battery lost charge.

    do you have a voltmeter? You should be seeing around 14V at anything above an idle.
