A friend of mine from france recently told me that a 360 new is about $115,000 or so...is this true? why would Fcars be any less expensive anywhere else since we are one of the primary markets? the uk i could see bc of the EXTENSIVE costs of converting to right hand drive but short of that....any answers? why are 360s about 175k here then?

In Europe VAT is about 15%. They should be more expensive over there! Unless Ferrari of America takes a bigger margin, I know parts are a lot more expensive in the US.

And gas is about $5 a gallon in England - don't know about the continent. One of my friends has a Jeep in London and he said it costs him about $75 to fill up.

    Noony,

I do not know where "over here" is and you also have not filled out your profile. But since you quote in Pounds I guess you mean England.

    So, compare:

    In England (including VAT?):
    360 Modena: $177K (103K pounds)
    360 Sider: $189K (110K Pounds)
    Enzo: $1,033K (600K Pounds)

In the US (including NY state tax and gas guzzlers tax):
    360 Modena: $182K
    360 Spider: $190K
    Enzo: $706K

    In the Netherlands (including VAT):
    360 Modena: $230K (192K Euro)
    360 Spider: $261K (218K Euro)
    Enzo: $1,090 (909K Euro)

    Rijk
