    If you thought of a hypothetical edition of the TV show Family Feud, and the category was "Child Stars," what would be your first couple of guesses?

    Mine would be Shirley Temple and, regrettably, Honey Boo-Boo.

    Today, the world mourns the passing of Shirley Temple Black, at age 85. Early fame didn't go to her head and become an early member of the "27 Club." Her dedication to public service after her film career ended, serving as a diplomat, is a character-trait doubtful to be seen again among entertainment celebrities.

    There are a lot of celebrities that do a lot good things with their money and their own time and physical effort. You just don't see it in the news because people don't want that, they want the dirty stuff.
