Probably what will happen, but rain is the wild card. Of course, I no longer question either Ferrari drivers' skills in the wets. FM's final lap last weekend was the kind of driving we all want to see. I wouldn't be surprised to see him win his home GP (if LH takes the title this weekend). Next season, I really hope we see the KR that we have the last 5 or so races. He looked lost for most of this year, but once he figured the car out, he drove like the Kimi we expected. I also REALLY REALLY hope to see Massa back next year. I know everyone thinks he doesn't deserve to be in the Ferrari, but I like him and think he fits perfectly with the team. He has improved MILES from where he was even last season, and I believe he will continue to. I don't want to see F1's premiere diva in red next year, that's for certain.
I want STR to get a point. That's all. Don't care who gets champion, don't care what Ferrari does. Just one point for STR please.
DC in 5th is a surprise. What happened to the Renaults? I thought they would do better after what we saw at Fuji. I think this just about cinches the WDC for LH, unless someone deliberately crashes him out.
I have been supporting Massa all year. For not being a good rain driver, he looked pretty good in Japan.
I also think that Lewis is very lite thinking it will rain and being in front in the rain will be a big advantage....untill he tries to lap Weber...lol
Won't McLaren be in the last pitbox next year anyway? Weren't they completely scrapped or only points taken away? Confused.
a $100M fine means a $100M fine but in actuality the fine has been offset against the money they would have earnt. theyve been made an example of for a crime that according to those in the sport everyone does as such (and taking into account the fine thing) i feel they will get a pit box based on where they would have finished. as i said when i made the statement - its just my opinion.
Spyker has 1 point, STR has 0 points. So there is a real question whether McLaren or STR get the dead last pit box. Since both have zero points, the decision should be made on relative position in the race, where of course McLaren wins hands down. I'd love to see the humiliation on RD's face to have to walk all the way to the absolute last pit box. He deserves it.
I agree that BE should be clear with the fact that the show will be run according to the British Act of Regurgitated Fairness (tm). Otherwise all the mumbo jumbo becomes confusing when viewed through the reality and fairness prism, in select situations even predisposing one to a BARF like sentiment.
You want McLunken and their customer team to have adjacent garages? (I have to warn you -- I'm already miffed at prodrive, for failing to take the P2 into production. )
