You can drive just ONE car at a time... so, I'd rather have the one that I am happy with. I can always sell it and get another one later. Owning one will save you on maintainace cost also.

For the classic guy, 512TR is very tempting (is it a classic??)

For everyday use, I would go for the very last 355 and have money left.

I know people won't like this answer, but I would keep my 348 and add a chevy ( '69 Z-28 camaro). Just for something different.

I did have a '65 Corvette convert. and would have kept that if I could.

I would wait a bit and spend the 120 on a modena. You can only drive one at a time, so I would spend the money on my dream car.

You mean One Daytona, or a 512BB + a Testarossa, or a Dino 246 + a 355... I'll go with the two Ferraris. Owning one Ferrari, you will get the second Ferrari itch.... big itch! I had it.

    Agree with Richard Tuttle...

I have two identical old Ferraris, one as "spare"....

A Trans Am to get to work, nice 6 speed model..

Then, a 4 cyl truck for recent fuel price run up.

The only other thing you need to invest in is plenty of energy (petroleum) stock.........LOL!

    Total diversification!

Not enough data to answer properly. What do you like? What will you use the car/s for? do your car/s need to be in mint condition?

I like my 330. I wouldn't mind getting another vintage/classic V-12 or two to mess with. I tend to agree with Erik, the more the merrier, but this decision is a very personal one.

    Regards,

    Art S.

At 150K, you get a modena, and a pretty good 308. Great way to fill the garage.

For 120K I would probably buy a Testarossa and a 330 GT 2+2 Series II

This is a great question. I have a mint 1993 911 (964) which I love, but probably need to sell it to get a 355. I'd love to keep it, and every time I drive it I ask myself if I should keep it and get a 348 spider- my wife might let me do this, but it's hard to justify.

Then again, that lift I keep thinking about would allow both cars in one side of the garage....I'm going to have a tough time deciding what to do- took me so long to find the "pefect" 911 for me, and if I ever wanted to get back into a porsche I'd be kicking myself. I know it's not a 2 ferrari reply, but it's my reality and something I ponder as I try to get the play money together to make a move... 2 cars might be tough at this time...but I'm longing for a Ferrari before we start a family :)

I would retract my previous opinion if I could get a 360 CS for 160 K.

Give me a good, clean 456M and the balance to repair the damage the grandbaby and the standard poodle will do.

    Texas Mike,

I don't think you can get good examples of both a Testarosa and a 330 for $120k. I'm assuming $60 - $70k for the Testarosa. I don't think you can find a good 330 for $50 - $60K, that is now the price for cars with needs.

    Regards,

    Art S.

Two Ferraris fill approximately the same transportation "niche". If you can not use one for commute and one for play, then your available time is split between them. If you cannot put a high number of miles/year on a Ferrari, then I would think that a single higher-quality example is the better choice.

Not true. There is a big difference between the driving experience of a front engine V12 2+2, a mid engine V8 2+2 and a mid engine V8 sports car. Variety is good.

What would be the price range for a good 330 GT 2+2 Series II?

Right now in the FML there is a Series I listed for $64,900 and a series II for $75,000.

I hear wisdom in this statement, not the speculative kinds of statements by many others that I suspect haven't owned 2 + exotic sports cars at the same time. I have a 2005 Honda CRV (which I call the daily prosac mobile), my bike which I love to ride around town, PLUS a BMW M5 combined with a 98 355 spider F1 and more recently a 2004 360 F1 Modena. The greatest problem is I have no time to drive them. If you've got two exotics and any sort of life, one of the exotics will sit and you'll feel guilty while you drive the one you prefer the most, or you'll divide your time up and drive each of them only a little and feel guilty about that. Then, of course, there's the hassle and cost of maintaining the two -- I mean twice the number of trips to the dealers. IMHO, get ONE that absorbs your soul, drive it to the max, enjoy it, then move onto another one when the time's right. That's what I've discovered works best. Shawsan

I am considering selling my 328gts and maserati coupe for a 360 but am hoping the prices fall and I really love my 328 so I am not sure what to do.maybe just get rid of the 2003 maserati coupe but I don't know what to replace it with I am just not happy with the shifting on the 6 speed.
