    i am thinking about buying 1993 348 ts are ther a lot of quirks with this car and is it a wise purchase

    I too once was wise enough to buy a 348 ts..

    I was not too wise when I sold it though!

    When your wise-ing up this situation, you must think to yourself, what have I got to lose? Money-wise, Time-wise, Life -wise. Or perhaps any of the other wise's

    Don't even start me on the quirks!

    I thought this was a forum in support of Ferraris. If someone is interested in a Ferrari, why would you tell him not to get it? Is this because it is a 348? Not everyone has the cash to get a 430 or whatever. It is not like he said he was looking at a car with high miles or looked very rough. Am I missing something here?

    depends, is probably the answer here. But all in all I'd say the 348 is a great car, you should get one. It's quirky, but then again it's not a Honda.

    i think he should get a acura NSX i drove both on a video game and the NSX is way faster! plus the 348 is just a wannabe testarossa

    also the NSX is alot easier to modify

    Yes! Purchase a Japanese econobox like a Civic or Sentra- they're far cheaper than a 348, about the same size, and you can do better mods to them to make them just as fast! Vinyl decals add 10hp per pound, and Folgers coffee fartcans add asthetics and get all the girls. The more blue neon the better. They say 'chrome don't get you home', but it does when they're on 21" rims.

    No mass produced ferrari is a wise purchase.

    Personally, I'd never buy a 348, but that's based purely on looks. I prefer the 328, prob a wiser purchase IMHO...
