Clear Bra

What should be clear bra'd? I have an offer for half fenders, full number, mirrors, lights and half hood. I think on my other cali I had full hood, a pillars, mirrors, lights, etc. What do u guys think is needed?

 

My Cali came with full hood, fenders, mirrors. To be honest, if I'd have bought it new, might have just wrapped the whole thing. Less time worrying = more time enjoying...T

 

I recommend full hood. Hate seeing the line. Worth paying for a good installer who will take the time to do it right and wrap the edges. Attached is an example of a customer car who didn't use a good installer

Full hood, full fenders, mirrors, door edges, rocker panels. Make sure you have it done by an expert who will wrap around the edges and make it virtually undetectable.

 

I got the track pack which is the entire front, mirrors, rocker panels and rear wheel wells.

 

Try to use the latest nano products, they are less intrusive, self repairing to a degree and will wrap edges better. We use Nano-Fusion here and I understand they are choice of Fcar dealerships FWIW

 

I had the whole car wrapped with Xpel

 

I had that done with Xpel on my Porsche as well. Best move as the car is black and Porsche paint is soft, shows marks if you blow on the car.

 

Don't forget the strip on the trunk lid where the rear panel of the top rests.

The spot is repeated exposed to dust when the top is down and then the top is up, the rubber seal is pressed down on it. The rubber seal lubricant attracts dust. Result is that the area is prone to being scratched because the top will move when the car's bodywork is stressed, like when you hit a bumpy stretch. I worked with my dealer service department to sort out a couple of assembly line issues that my car had, and they installed the factory film for it for me for free, without my asking about it.
