I used to like CNN.com.. in fact you could say i was addicted..
Almost a homepage for me.. and then www.money.com to follow it up..

    but lately..
all im seeing is crap news on Cnn.com.. its either Terri S..(whatever)
Michael Jackson or the Pope dying.. (actually that one is news worthy.. but.. i dont need a different story every time the guy takes a breath.)

all in all do you guys have any good sites (national/world level) that you use for news information?... id like to get addicted to a new drug. (or flavor)

Ditto that. Better news coverage and NO popup adverts!

what do you call not-crap news?

perhaps i'm misguided, but as far as i can tell from past experience, news is just for people who want to know who else is suffering. :(

    I agree.....

I used to watch CNN headline news before I went to sleep to catch any last minute news. Now they have Showbiz tonight and Nancy Grace.

I think CNN is going downhill.

In it's own way it's probably as bad as CNN, I watch Fox when I watch at all.

I've noticed that as well. Usually, rather than posting a pic related to a news article , it's of one of their reporters. How many times do they think I need to see Aaron Brown? Seems like they took a steep dive after the Iraq war.

A few monts ago they had some article about a giant snake that fed on puppies. WTF?

Try reuters.com. Or weather .com :D
