I'm having a problem with my 2001 550's interior steaming up after driving. Windows are clear whilst driving however on parking the whole interior steams up. The problem is intermittent and occurs whether its raining or not. The car is parked outside all of the time as my garage is full. Any thoughts? Thanks all.
James, you obviously have water or moisture in the cabin. The windows fog up after you drive the car because after you turn the engine off, you also turn off the ventilation and the residual heat of the engine, exhaust etc., irradiates into the cabin, makes the water eveporate and the resulting steam has no way to go. If I had to guess, your A/C drain is probably clogged, but moisture could come in also from other ways, i.e. the outside air inlet of the A/C. Start by checking the drains and make sure they are free from debris, slime, etc. Good luck, Saluti,
