I just received a console made by Alberto, swift53. It is fabulous! I have been looking for a replacement for my crumbling original for months. Alberto provided a replacement unit out of Fiberglas that is better than original at a fair price.
Now if I can just get him to make a replacement for my cracked lower ac evaporator casing!

    Alberto,

I somehow missed you were making some stuff like this.

Scott's words speaks volumes about his experience.

What else do you make (other than the most well known handywork we have seen)?

Shawn, we can make anything you might need, short of a chassis and engine/transaxle parts and other industrially inclined items.
As most are aware, all the plastic consoles were good for awhile, just as Dino was. Inevitably, the plastic broke and the consoles where flying about.
I have now molds for all the Dino consoles in all the variants

I have been making replica GTA airboxes, and assorted GTV racing body parts (for you Alfa fans) and have really good experience in the handmade fiberglass parts field.

Next, I will be making the evaporator housing molds as this part was also made out of cheap plastic and does not fare well over time.

Scott sent me some photos of the housing which we will replicate in glass. I have an original, undamaged unit that we'll pull a master from.
    Please pm for any need.

    Happy Holidays!

    Scott,

This is the remake of the bottom of the evap. case.
In the original, the drain tube was pointing upwards, now it is improved
and with a 100% drain efficiency. The tube is also fiberglass, so bulletproof.

Is this the glovebox you are inquiring about?

    Regards, Alberto

Someone has reproduced the glove box tray in a heavier gauge. I bought one at Rutlands years ago and was a much better product.

Today we pulled a mold to reproduce the glovebox tray in fiberglass, as I really don't think I would install it back that way.
The vacu-formed original is worse than any glovebox I had seen in a Yugo.
In the L at least, it was fiberglass.
Cost cutting in Dinoland was at full swing after!

Now I will be able to carry Matthias's book in it, I hope. :)

    Happy Holidays, Alberto

New glovebox. Heavy duty. It has the slight depressions that make it fit to the underside of the dash as it is a perfect copy of a prefitted one, except that it is heavy duty and the inside texture came out very well.
The brightness of black is not correct, will be more satin, plasticky looking as the original.
