Cool note...

First, I'd like to apologize for somewhat lame "photoshop" effort to hopefully(?) prevent easy "reproduction" of this post card size note I recently received as a gift and was wondering if some one here would be the able to accurately translate exact context/meaning of its text "Grazie degli auguri che ricambio e cordiali saluti, ..." ? Google translation seems to be little off.
And although I have absolutely no interest of selling it, would also like to hear any experienced collectors opinions what something like this might be worth, assuming its real of course.

Also, as stated previously, I'm not looking to sell this, but would like to get a sense of its value so I can appropriately acknowledge gift givers effort.
If it's worth $10.00, maybe call or email to say "thanks". If it's $100.00, maybe a nice card ? Or if $1000.00, a nice bottle of wine ?

 

It's a general rule of thumb that famous autographs start around $300.

If you look at completed sales on eBay or contact Albaco it might be worth a little more.

I have a nice picture of Enzo, that would look good framed up with that below in the mat work...

Grazie is "Thank you" and the "Cordial salute" is the Italian equivalent to "Sincerely yours"....It's a "thank you for your message and kindest regards..."

Also be aware his personal secretary had an Signature Rubber Stamp and a purple ink pad!

But, looking at the bobble in the bottom of the "a" I would say that is a legitimate ink pen sig, but I don't know squat about it....
There are historians that could match the typing up and confirm it came from her desk...LOL!

Having been involved restoring and working on vintage Ferraris for more than awhile now, I understood most of the message, but would like to capture it's exact meaning and hopefully context which it was written for...
Also, knowing where I got it from and looking closely at the signature and it's ink flow I suspect it being personally signed.
So if anybody else wishes to offer an educated guess of its approximate value before I send my regards to the giver, I'm all ears (or eyes ...

 

I found a similar phrase, "grazie per gli auguri che ricambio" which is confirmed to translate to "thank you for your wishes which I reciprocate".

 

Maybe I've been watching to many "Pawn Stars" where they get signatures authenticated. I would say its a stamp based on the perfectly even thickness of lines, especially where the pen starts and stops. Shouldn't it taper on and off? Maybe take it to Rick to verify.

 

Am I right to assume you're referring to that "other" time (and brain cell robbing) thing called TV ?
I literally threw mine away about 25 years ago and haven't missed it since.
Last time, maybe 10 or so years ago, when acquaintance from that "entertainment"(?) industry inquired if they could produce a some kind of "reality" (?!?) show or program based on my work, I told him he must be joking ...
And ironically, just yesterday some one approach me to construct/fabricate some kind of a replication body of some famous(?) street racing(?) movie car on a (brand?) new models platform for some recently(?) popular franchise sequel.
After cordially declining their (generous?) offer, mainly due to lack of time and staff, I found their prompt response by just offering more $$ almost insulting and made me more resolute for not wishing to do business like with entities like that...
Call me crazy, but I just don't get the lack of comprehension for integrity or principles.
Who knows, next they'd ask me to go on a date with some starlet for publicity and that could possibly lead my otherwise open minded and supportive GF becoming unhappy...
