Crank pulley

So my crank pulley was replaced and all vibrations and odd noises have stopped. Someone here suggested I also replace my cranshaft seal. Of course this was after the pulley was done I think. Should this seal have been replaced? I am not noticing an oil leaks that aren't normal. My car has alway wept a bit. Thoughts?
