Looking to have the seats in my CS recovered as the alcantara is looking pretty tired. Using the search here, the shops that keep popping in the tri-state area are Coachtrim, Classic Coach, and Bradan. I plan on reaching out to each, but I'm wondering what you guys would figure as a ballpark guestimate for doing just the seats. I know raw materials are very expensive right now... Thanks in advance.

You can remove the alcantara pilling with 2000 grit sandpaper. Did that on the flat/worn spots on a Porsche steering wheel I had, freshens it up.

I reached out to classic coach to redo the sport seats a year or 2 ago and they quoted $15K!

$15k seems crazy high to me. Ferrari Tax at its best

I'm sure the work is as excellent as they say and as close to factory as you can get based on the cars they get and restore but still, $15K to reupholster the seats is a little outrageous. Suffice it to say, I didn't do it!

Really appreciate all the feedback - this is exactly why I wanted to post. I had a feeling the numbers could come in all over the place. 15K to recover two seats.. no thanks.

I’ll be honest I had them fix the handle on my tool kit. It was about $400 and the workmanship wasn’t better than my father in-law who does leather and shoe repair. Learning experience. Now if I had a 1960’s Ferrari and wanted a price no object restoration they are the place to go. I saw some amazing work on restorations when I was given a tour.
