    I'm sure you all have seen this video. The screenshot I have attached is from 1:08, where it looks like this automotive journalist seems to push a button hidden in the front wheel arch in order to manually close the "active" brake cooling ducts.

    Anyways, it made me really curious, does anyone else have any input? Is there a manual override feature just for show?

    It makes sense on a car at a car show so that you can demonstrate the feature.

    It would be strange to have a button there for production cars. Why would you want to be able to open a cooling duct on a stationary car? For cleaning?

    Nah, I think it's a one off for the show(s).

    It's a proto we made only for the show.
    The production cars will not have the hidden button that you see in the video.
