I was in Maranello this summer. I've seen 2 shades of red, blue, black, yellow, 2 shades of silver, etc etc.

Not to put a damper on your thread or anything, but I just think it is the ugliest thing ever made.. no need to debate this issue because it is my personal opinion. But I do like your photos, and that is what this thread is about.

I can vouch for him, they look MUCH better in person! But not the best Ferrari IMO

Lookin good there my man.. I think it would be a shame if someone order this is in red simply because looks so much better in darker and lighter shades.

i must say 355's are what caught my eye when i was a child; loved ferrari since.

Like you, seen it in person in a few colors. Not THE ugliest (as the Aztec thakes that prize IMO), but she is not a pretty car. As long as it has a Prancing Horse many people just fall for it hook, line, and sinker. Sad really when people allow a name brand to dictate their tastes.

yes quite sad. If ferrari keeps going down this path, I'll be considering lambos in the future. The Gallardo Spyder is the 355 spider of the present.

design is subjective, i do not think that it is merely the prancing horse that dictates many people's opinion.

imho, i like the new design; however, as in many car designs there are aspects that can be improved upon.

I've always liked the 288 GTO. I'll probably get hung by the hardcore F guys but if I had the cash I would get a GTO and put a Enzo drivetrain in it :).
