My second question for the day. What is the best solution for the leather shrinkage? In my car, it's pretty much just the airbag cover, but even my dealer didn't have any ideas. Anybody have experience with re-ulphostery, color-matching, etc?
    Thanks,

funny you should mention that. I have the same problem with teh airbag cover. She's in for a major, so they will remove the cover, untack the leather, check the foam and then recover using the same leather.

Search for threads regarding dash recovering, there are several. Prettry much remove the bag, strip everything and recover.

Have an auto interior shop match it in vinyl. There are perfect matches available (grain and color) and never a worry again. Get an exact match on the foam if needed. It doesnt take but just the smallest amount thicker to make the job terrible to reassemble.
