Anyone gone this year? Worth the time, parking and the $10 ticket? Are all cars closed doors as usual? It seems like each year, less and less cars are actually available for in person viewing. Everything is either up top, and floor cars all have locked doors and windows up.

No, it's NOT worth it. Maybe I'm a little spoiled with the local events, but to be honest...if there is a car that I'm actually interested in...I go to the dealership. Between that and the local car shows, I've seen almost everything (for example Mercedes had a 2011 SLS on a huge rotating display.....yeah, well, a guy brought one to our last NOVA SCC meet up). Some of the concept cars are cool and if you like Mustangs there was a huge Mustang Club display. All of the interesting cars are locked, roped off or have huge "do not touch" signs. BORING!!

Agree... I went yesterday and it was terrible! The showing of Porche, Ferrari or any other exotics was nil. Usually they at least have them fenced off... really disappointed that I couldn't sit in the new Cayenne Turbo...

I remember when they had a huge Jeep track for you to drive on... nothing of that scale this year.

Blame the economy and the automakers and dealers trying to suck up to Congress and play up their green credentials.
