    dead short in instrument lights. checked behind fuse panel nothing there. hmmmm?

    Check the bulb/holder for the cigarette lighter illumination, easy to get a short there.

    well 5 hours later everything is put back together. found a short in the bulb for the running light on the passenger side. i can't beleive how much work it is to change that bulb. let me tell you i had the whole car taken apart and went through many many many fuses. at least that is over.

    WTF? Can you be more descriptive? Was there a short of a wire to the body on the passenger running light on the door?
