Dementia Test!

Below are four (4) questions and a bonus question. You have to
answer them instantly. You can't take your time, answer all of them immediately. OK? Let's find out just how clever you really are.

What position are you in?















Answer: If you answered that you are first, then you are
absolutely wrong! If you overtake the second person and you take
his place, you are second!



Try not to screw up in the next question. To answer the second question, don't take as much time as you took for the first question.




Second Question: If you overtake the last person, then you
are...?














Answer: If you answered that you are second to last, then you
are wrong again. Tell me, how can you overtake the LAST person?!
You're not very good at this! are you?



Third Question: Very tricky math! Note: This must be done in
your head only. Do NOT use paper and pencil or a calculator. Try it.


Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000. Now add
30. Add another 1000. Now add 20. Now add another 1000.

OKay, now the bonus round .

 

Well, I got the first two right. Wheres the bonus though?? Those were pretty good, number three really messed me up.

 

I got four and 1 right. For the second one I said first because your just lapping the last person. And that is right.

 

#2 could be first - As in if you are overtaking last, then maybe you are lapping them - But you could be any of the positions to do that I guess.

 

Ah, but not necessarily. You could be running in any position (except last) and lap the last person. Now, how 'bout some pictures of Mary and her sisters!

 

I got the first, third and fourth right.

 

Either I'm totally demented or I have complete dementia. I'm not sure which it is. Maybe both, because I missed them all.

 

#1 is flawed - If you are in a race with two people and you overtake the second person, you are now in first. (It doesn't say the second place person)

I got them all right...

 

i missed the 1st 2 and got the last 2 right. This is cool though...

 

That was my reasoning, too.

Otherwise I answered all of them right (or better: as supposed ...).
