no, not the kind those weird Europeans where to the beach, but rather the speedometer

Now most know there speedos are off by a good 10%, but are the Diablo 6.0s off also, or did Audi fix the that when they took over??

If they are still off, is there anyway to correctly callibrate it or does anyone sell the speedo face thats adjusted to show the correct speed?

My Diablo spedo and odo is off 10% while the Murcie spedo is still off 10 % and the odo is fixed per a hand held GPS.

My Diablo SV is the same, 10% off on both speedo and odo. The Gallardo is off 10% on the speedo, but accurate on the odo. Both cars were tested via GPS.

    the odometer is off too?!?!

a PPI computer readout I just got of one showed it going as high as 7530rpm.

Is the 10% high or low? And is it consistent or variable on the 10% of the odometer??

If I buy it I'm deffently gonna be looking for some aftermarkert faces that are corrected, or try and make correct ones

I think you are confusing odometer to tachometer. At anyrate, the speedo and odo errors are 10% optimistic. That means a 5000 mile car is actually only 4500 miles (odometer) or if you are going 100 mph, you are only actually going 90 mph (speedometer). The tachometer measures your engine speed. I think that is accurate. So, the 7530 max rpm on your PPI should be no problem.

As far as I know, all are still 10% off. As fars as correcting it, if you can find a shop that would do it, I'm sure it could be fixed. I did try to have mine calibrated 3-4 years ago. I tried 3 different speedo shops in So Cal, but no one wants to touch it due to liability concerns.
