    where can
    i get a diet that is easy to follow and easy to subtitute that has options in it ,say if you don't have certain things on hand? What about shakes? Books that are easy?

    This is by far the best diet I have ever seen. It makes complete scientific sense (I have a Ph.D., in toxicology). You can download it as a .pdf.

    I used similar methods to achieve my weight loss- I lost 40 lbs, went from 185 to 145 (I'm 5'5").

    Instead of three meals a day eat 5 smaller ones. Get rid of the candy/soda/fast food whatever else it is that's bad in your diet. Make sure you're getting in plenty of vegetables and fruits and eat lean meats such as chicken or fish. If you need to leave in one "cheat day" a week to eat all the bad stuff and then cut it right back off for the rest of the week. IMO diets don't work, you should be focused more on a lifestyle change regarding what you eat. If it's a straight up diet it's going to be hard to maintain after the weight is gone, and chances are you'll just put it all back on again.
