    On my 72 gts i noticed that the speedo needle is bouncing and making a very anoying and loud ticking sound. just drove it two weeks ago in cold (35deg) weather. what's going on and what should i do?

    Might be time for a new speedo cable or clean up the old one and re-lube.

    you mentioned 35 degrees, at that temp grease can be pretty stiff, especially old grease. I would suggest, cleaning and re-lubing the cable as the very first thing.
