I know exactly where you are at. I took 08232 through the exact same process years ago...You must have a serial # close to that. Chairs and Flares are the greatest reward in Dino cars. What color is the interior, May have some dino interior parts NOS. on hand.
Hey. Mine looked like that a month ago. Now, it's all in primer. have faith, you'll get there... probably just in time to miss the prime spring driving season. Dave
I am incredibly jealous. I hold the 246 as the last of the really 'beautiful' Ferrari's. All my best on your restorations, gentlemen! Keith
Thanks guys, To msdesignsltd, the serial No is 07528 and heres the colour of the interior. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Scott, Thankyou, the seats are the originals retrimmed and the door panels are completely remanufactured copies of the originals as is the bulkhead cover. they were done by a company of long standing called Bartons in Bedford in the UK. Graham.
Now thats a sore point, the dash although in fabulous order is totally BALD! I sourced some mousehair from Brazil on our old favourite, e-bay. When it arrived it was as advetised OEM, but it is a very thin cloth backed shiny black finish instead of the original charcoal semi matt finish. Therefore i am not altogether happy with it and am erring on the side of leaving 'old baldy' as she is. I was trying to forget all about this part of the resto, now i won't be able to sleep again tonight, Thanks!
