Door handle

Hello All,
My passenger side door handle seems to be off position; the distance between the outside of the handle and the piece that holds it is not uniform; the driver side door handle distance it is uniform (see pictures for reference); anyone with similar issue? how can this be fix?

There are washers that adjust the handle in or out. Take the handle off and add or delete washers to even it up... Mine from the factory had three on the drivers side and one on the passenger side...

 

Mine is worse than that.. My driver side is almost tight against the door and maybe 1/4" to 5/16" gap to the handle. And the passenger side is even maye 1/8" on each side. It's been bugging me for quite some time but I still haven't fixed it..

 

Maybe it was supposed to be 2 on each side (kidding of course)

 

Here is the step by step writeup I did for the door panel removal. Scroll thru to see the door handle part----When you take it apart you will see some washers either on the innner or outer door handle. Remove or add washers to get the handle to line up correctly...
