    I'll be flying in Sunday and staying until Saturday. Going to be in a fully restored C-172 tail wheel conversion. Painted teal and white to resemble a 57' Chevy.

    Thanks for all the kind words! I am very fortunate to be flying her over to the Oshkosh for the week. Being only 22 I was surprised my boss even approached me and another coworker to take her over to Oshkosh. Anyways if anyone from Fchat will be there please stop by and say hello!

    Having a great time.. taking 2,000+ pics a day..

    Yesterday looking at the surreal sight at Boeing Plaza of being under the tail of a an Airbus 350 and swivel around to see an F22, B29, C-47, Lancaster, B-17 and 2 of Burt Rutan's creations.. all with ready walk-up-to access bar the F22 which had rope perimeter and very much armed guard!

    Many interesting forums and today will listen to Apollo 13 personnel and Burt Rutan's "skigull" talk.

    Tonight is promising as night show following the all-afternoon daily air-show..

    So much to see and do.. haven't even got to the vendors much yet.. need 5 days just to have a hope of having a sample of it all..

    Met a fellow f-chatter and was great to make another friendly contact and get a sample of his vast array of knowledge..

    Also made random friendly conversations everywhere I go.. on the bus, the flightline etc.. yesterday had fascinating long conversations with unassuming couple who came and sat next to me at the airshow only to learn he an ex-navy Vietnam pilot, retired commercial captain and his wife with more ratings (ATP, seaplane, glider..) than would think possible.. and all in front of a Grumman Albatross parked there for the day which is first one i've seen and long wanted a look over one.

    Well this is a good sign..... Award ceremony is tomorrow night at 6pm so we'll figure out what exactly we won then!

    The show has been great! I met a bunch of interesting people including F4Udriver from here, walked through just about every display at the show and got to sit back and enjoy the airshow most days. Can't wait to be back again next year.

    Won reserve grand champion for contemporary customized! They managed to get the aircraft owner name wrong along with the incorrect year of the aircraft on the trophy haha. Oh well
