I think that looks great (especially the engine bay). Those are some wide offset wheels out back for a slim body!

Nice! I would source chrome surrounds for the headlamps, though, as I think they look very strange painted in the same color as the body. Nothing wrong with chrome trim where it was designed to be.

Oddly I am not a fan of chromed Fuchs. Like the polished ones better.

Agree, it's one of the nicer details on these cars, also the engine cover grille.

I know this car.... it's amazing.
Mine I want keep not too far from stock, but some nice mods will be hard to avoid. I already place order for a bunch of cool stuff. Waiting for winter to start messing. Yesterday I got the new Retrosound head unit. With Bluetooth... still looking like the original.
Steering wheel I may go for a new momo prototipo or use one of my old ones.

Headlights.. go for the factory H4s with the chrome rings. They're great on the early cars. The car you pictured belongs to a friend.. did you attend the "at speed" event as well? I was also there.. nice turn out of cars and Bob Miller is always a gracious host.

Well, painted rim 'Sugar Scoop' (that's what they are called) headlights were seen on the SC starting in 78 and early 80's Carrera when the trim was changed from chrome to black.

There are H4 headlights that work with the Sugar Scoops also.

Chrome Fuchs... eventually the chrome will peel, especially in humid areas. Does not adhere well to Fuchs.

I saw that car on ebay and thought about it, but stayed away due to not numbers matching. It was priced very good and looks to be very clean:

Its a T...numbers matching doesn't matter. Rust matters.

If it were an S then the numbers matching matters more. Fact is that longhood prices are increasing fast. If you can find a non-rusty longhood buy it. Its money in the bank.

Car arrive on a freezing afternoon... start was rough and couldn't stay running. Hard time to reach my garage, a mile down hill.... lucky me. On my gate I try the last time and it start running ok... The filter looks dirty, how they can say it just had a tune-up, blows my mind. Both door panels loose, also antenna loose, the handle to open the engine lid, got broken in my hand, was decomposing. Overall a nice car... just need some TLC. Lot of potential here .

What color is that ? BAHIA RED ? This car had a repaint on 2007. Not sure if that is the correct color. Looks great, but need an small touch up... Guard red ? Too close to call.
