    I found out this evening that a former member of FerrariChat passed away a few months ago. His member name was EFWUN. Back in March of 2003, he gave me a ride in his 550 Maranello; it was my first-ever ride in a Ferrari. After that, he and I kept in touch. He was a great guy. In the 1970s, he raced Formula Atlantic cars; even played with motorcycles on the track a bit. The stories he told me were just as intense as the rides he gave. When he took delivery of his Mercedes E 55 AMG in 2003, he took me for a ride in it. The man could drive like no one I'd ever known. He was smart, too; always kept me on my toes. I enjoyed hanging out with him. After I moved away from New York, our contact got sporadic; he was busy, I was busy; such is life. When I moved back to New York, we picked up where we left off, making plans to meet up again. I let life get in the way and never paid one last visit to my friend; and now he's gone. I haven't been affected by the death of a human being since my great grandmother died when I was nine or ten. Here's to a great a guy and a great friend; may he rest in peace. The world was a better place for having known him.
