Any pictures of some of the chrome options for the engine. Just added a chrome radiator cap
Not that you asked for my opinion, but I can't think of any reason to add chrome to the engine compartment in a 348.
Erin.............Ferrari's don't need chrome engine bits! Perhaps hydraulics are next? With some dice?
Well, WITH RESPECT TO ALL MY FELLOW F-CHATTERS... I also see chrome rims on the 348 / 355's once a while here.. My god... pimp my ride...
I can't get any of these chromed wheeled wonder drivers to go to the track. Wait!! I can bearly get them to do anything except participate in the PPE series (Posing, Parking and Eating)
I think the crown or the fist (chromed) air freshener is a nice touch, but it has to be displayed with pride! Rollin' with my homies... BT
Okay that's it. I'm calling you out Ferrari Girl, or is it.............Ferrari Guy? You sound WAAAAY too much like some dumb teenage boy. When you asked about your "1st gear problem", I asked if you were gonna adjust it yourself. You said yeah. Well I say YEAH RIGHT! I don't know of ANY chick that is willing to adjust her own shift linkage. Heck, there are only a handful of guys on this site that have the balls to adjust the shift linkage. Then you ask about painting the intake plenum. Then asked about a "rattle" in "your" door, which I told you how to access. Then you asked about upgrade plug wires. Then you ask about the pricing because you wanna sell "YOUR '90 348". Then painting the lower pannels. Then you asked about the fuel sender. Now you are asking about chrome. Women that I know could care less about "chroming" the engine. All they care about is driving it, let alone trying to fix it themselves. I'm calling you out because I don't think your a girl, AND I doubt you even own a Ferrari.
Erin... I don't think I've ever even seen a 348 or a 355 with a chromed engine bay with or without chromed engine parts... The only pictures I have of a Ferrari whose engine bay is chromed are of a Euro Modena (see below)... I think the owner did a wonderful job; a lot of other parts of this car have been personalized as well... Try to ignore the elitist blow hards who think that slightly altering a Ferrari in any way shape or form automatically means you're a teenage boy... They don't enrich this site any... If chrome weren't that popular among Ferraris and Ferrari owners, then it wouldn't be a factory wheel option on the F430s and the 612s... Ernie, WOW, a teenage boy! I have never been taken for that. However, I am big enough not to get insulted. I have enclosed a pic of my 348 TS. It's my first, and was a college graduation gift from my Dad. Sorry for the dumb questions but I joined to forum to learn. I can tackle some of the repairs but not all. I have a mechanic friend who has been helping me. Together we read everyone's responses, look at photos ( when available )and he has been successful in fixing most of the problems. I am learning my way thru Ferrari ownership, so please Brotherhood ,be patient. Thanks again for all your help... chrome ..................................YACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKkk pooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! pimp my ride..........I never saw something CHROME on a FERRARI IN EUROPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.................BLEAHHHHHHHHH
Not particularly impressed with the 360. The guy simply took off the parts that were easy to take off and easy to chrome. http://northwest.nsxca.org/mikesc.html THIS is how it's done... ;-)
By chance, have you and your family been tracking down at VIR with the FCA-NC during the past few years? Name is familiar, 348 seems to ring a bell, etc. etc. If I'm thinking of the same family, your father had just purchased a great new F-car for his collection from RL. Same person?
Whoever parks in their kitchen automatically gets my thumbs up! ;-) Hey, your front wheels mounted on wrong sides!!! ugh.
