    For me the engine sound is very important in a sports car. Btw, I was at Valencia two weeks ago watching the Formula One race there, it was my first live F1 race: the engine sound was absolutely absolutely amazing. How on earth can those machines produce such fantastic noise??

    To my Ferrari question: could someone describe the difference regarding engine sound between a F430 Spider, a 430 Scuderia and a F430 Challenge I would really appreciate it.

    Get capristo exhaust and some straight pipes and you will get that f1 sound for all.

    :) With all due respect but you can not get the same engine sound as on an F1 car on a road car by changing the exhaust. It will get louder of course, but not the same sound and noise.

    I'm not looking for the F1 sound, I'm looking for info regarding the difference of the stock version of the models and the engine sound.

    with all due respect it is about the closest you can get on a road car.

    Ok so f430 spider, you do not want something too loud when you have the top down but I raced one the other day and it must have had some aftermarket exhasut on because it sounded mean. A guy who I know who has a scud said it is noisy on the inside and from the outside it was about teh same as a CS. I have not heard a 430 challenge though so I cannot help there.

    I absolutely agree with you here. If you're looking for the F1 sound on a road car it's the way to go. I don't know if you have heard the latest F1 cars live, but the sound is sensational.

    Thank you for your input. I want my new Ferrari to sound raw and loud, and I also want a Spider. I don't know if I can get my hands on a Scuderia Spider since they will not produce that many, but maybe this combination is a perfect fit for me. Once again thanks for your input.
