I had my floor done by a company that does nothing but Epoxy floors. MAN DOES IT LOOK AWESOME! I'm sure many of you already have Epoxy floors for those exotic rides you own. But for those that don't, hit me up and I'll pass on the info, they are about 50% cheaper than others (I priced them out already) and the work is top notch. They prepped the floor with a diamond grinder, primed it, and but a light sand in the texture to prevent it from being too slippery. Gary

I'm having an architect draw up some plans for a garage as I type.... the floor is another variable in the equation.

Wish I could take credit for its invention, but a California friend of mine has been using the term for years.

    Use in good health. :)

Interested in the same, but have concerns about the application team adding enough sand to keep my wife from crashing into the back of the garage when the floor's wet, but keeping the floor smooth enough to make sweeping up dirt a possibility.

How is yours for both concerns? I wonder how it will be in the winter with dripping slush from your daily drivers?

I will get some pics tomorrow and pass on the number. Cost was less than $1,000, was quoted as high as $3,000. They added more sand than I would like, but I will see how it reacts when I push water to my drain. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM CEMENT PAINT. sorry, just trying to point out that in our climate and salt it won't hold up. Been there done that. I will be having an open house some time, when I do, I will invite the group. Then you can see it. Gary

I've had my epoxy floor now for a little over three years , and i LOVE it !I had a painted floor before and it just didn't cut it. The paint peeled up in a couple places ,etc.Everyone that sees the epoxy floor can't believe just how cool it is. So far three friends upon seeing my floor did their floors. So far we're all satisfied with the results. The company that did mine is called Homepro.

So..... I am looking at expanding my garage and i was leaning torward putting those tiles down... Maybe now i might have to consider epoxy???

Hey, not sure how easy it is to put down yourself, but if so, my sister is an artist, i may contract her to put the Ferrari logo on the floor in epoxy???? Hmmmm??????

Or maybe a murral on the floor, make it look as though the floor is glass and there is another level below with an enzo there??? Hmmmm??? Now that would look cool????? Hmmmm???? I hate it when i start thinking like that, it ends up turning into a huge project then.... HAH!

Very creative. A friend of mine did a similar thing for his Ferrari room in his house: An artist did a bunch of murals, very cool looking. Only problem: He still doesn't have the car...

Thanks for posting the pics - there's quite a bit of sand there! Looks nice and safe for the winter.

    The floor looks great. Congrats.

Is it a PITA to sweep or no big deal?

    TIA,
    Brad
