pinarello dogma fp w/ full campy record. last of the breed it being a non-autoclave variety.
magnesium and carbon construction and actually made by pinarello's finest. the wheels are pretty rare as well so says gita.

i built the bike about 4 yrs ago at a cost of approx $11k list price. i have its sister bike out on the west coast with the only difference being it has dura ace crank set. these dogma's were my 3rd and 4th pinarello custom builds (custom because i ride slightly out of square frame measurments) and each is like art to me.

Custom Giano CF bike with the latest SRAM red group, ritchey ti pedals and cheap Fulcrum 5 wheels are for daily use - weighs in at 15.2 lb with those wheels...under legal limit with racing wheelset. Only negative is that the rider is really not up to par with the bike :)

i am a campy guy from day one but i like my campy bike w/ the dura ace crank set best.

the dura ace bottom bracket is sweet and the crank arms feel stiffer thus more electric!

Speaking of components...A friend of mine just bought a titanium Guru tri bike with Shimano's new Di2 electronic shifting components. Its a wicked setup! Both front and rear derailleurs self-trim so regardless of low, med, high gearing you never have any chain rub/noise.

And for tri folks there is the added benefit of being able to shift on both the horns as well as the aero-bars. Time will tell how durable the setup is, especially in wet/humid conditions.

Now if I only had the $4K to afford it!

I think I have found the most expensive bike more then a ducati D it's $75,000 to $80,000 range when I seen it, I said sold, till I seen the price. any way here are the picks only 500 or 600 not sure will be sold. Its called the black trail Jay leno's garage forum has a video of him riding it check it out. If I had to pick I'd take the Ducati Thank you.

That's an electric bike with a motor. I don't know about selling "only" 500 or 600 at that price. I doubt they could sell more than a handful, if that. I'd like to have one though.

Anyone with a mint Schwinn Sting from 1979 or 1980?

I'd still pay a pretty penny to own one.

craig calfee has done some great stuff! i remember comparing craigs cf bikes vs. the same vintage colnago cf frame. the colnago looked like it was built by hacks where the calfee was perfect!

I have a felt f3. Nice bike. Very fast.

Defiantly get an all carbon fiber bike. It's worth it.
