Has anyone bought an extended warranty from Ferrari on a used 360, or any other Ferrari for that matter? There are a few levels of coverage and I was looking for someone to help clear the confusion. Thanks!

Unless its a Ferrari warranty, my experience is they're not worth the paper they're written on.

I'd agree. Big downsides are that independent warranty companies can go out of business for a number of reasons, some perfectly legitimate. The other is that the scope of coverage is carefully calculated to make sure that you lose.

If it's a 360, it might qualify for Ferrari's certified program - if you buy from an authorized dealer.

The Power Cube will cost you over $7K with the belts done.(requirement) If it's a good car then you'd be better off just handling stuff as it comes up.

The extended warranty is obviously insurance against a catastrophic drive train failure. When I purchased a used 575, I knew I would enjoy the car more with the insurance. I paid ~4.5k for two years of extended Ferrari warranty. I have had a bad left cam drive bearing + gears and half-shafts replaced under warranty w/o problems. How lucky do you feel? I sleep better with the insurance.
