I agree about the bangle-esque contortions on the door not being the most graceful, but I think the front of the car from the nose to the A-pillars is much nicer than the standard F12. I would prefer the back half of the regular F12 as is. The standard F12's hindquarters has a healthy dose of Alfa 8C-C in it, and that's not a bad thing.

I do think the be-striped and be-dazzled paint scheme takes a lot away from the F60. With a simpler paint scheme in a color like Grigio Ferro I think the design would come to life.

They made 10, they have sold 10. There's no concept of "worth" for things such as these.

To me cars are like jewellery, some wear a patek for 50k-1 million, is it worth it ? If someone bought it, it is :) IMHO

There is when the time comes to sell one in the secondary market and IMO their depreciation will be like car keys falling out of a Lear Jet.

Personally I think the F12 is the prettiest grand tourer in the 21st century. But that's just my personal opinion. Also, don't think it can ever be improved upon. So the F60 and M version might not look as great as it is.

Doubt anyone who can comfortably spend this much on a car cares all that much, honestly. It's not an investment.

Absolutely yes to the 10 suckers buying that thing.
50% premium over regular F12 maybe, as it is now it is a similar money grab like that awful Lambo Veneno based on Aventador.

There are very few cars that are intrinsically worth the price. The price then becomes about intangible factors.

It strikes me Ferrari is trying to capitalize on the 275 NART Spyder success in the market place.

Time will tell how these hold up, but if they really do make only 10, I think we might be surprised at where they trade. I'm surprised the 599 Aperta is now a $1m car. But it is. And they made more than 80 of those...

+1 $2.5 Million? I don't get, But hey, if 10 people bought it, I guess it's worth it to them. We've seen CRAZIER $$$ on this site.

    No, it's a cash grab.

Ferrari has established themselves as being able to produce just about anything on a limited run and buyers will trip over each other to purchase it.

The F60 is nothing more than a F12 with the roof chopped off and a body kit. If you swapped the badges with Mansory ones people all over would be crying foul, but because Ferrari does it, it's magical.

I'll admit, I am usually a sucker for anything special or "limited edition" (I ADORE the SA Aperta), but when Ferrari starts doing this sort of thing it cheapens the special-ness of it. Even though they charge way more for it.

Don't you always talk about Ferrari leaving money on the table with its hypercars? As long as the company found people to pony up the money, it was well priced. Maybe the company is finally making a concrete move towards taking out the flippers and pocketing as much as it can.

IMHO there is no way this car deserves the 2.5+ m price tag. It is a re-bodied F12 with special colour and shields.

Compelling journalism! I would expect no less of Jalopnik.

    And certainly no more. :)

Ferrari intends to increase production to ten thousand units per year.
