I have a 01 360 with an F1 (20KMiles) and when I am out running around, randomly when I get back in the car to start, the F1 is in 1st and pullin gback on both won;t immediately return it to neutral. If I pull the upshift and then downshift it will then go to neutral. I have checked fluid level, its fine and it shifts fine just this random issue. Ideas?
    Thanks,
    Robert

When you pull both back, try planting your foot on the brake a bit harder, might work. Sorry can't help beyond that.

Are you setting the emergency brake when you leave it in gear? Also are you upshifting then downshifting then pulling both to get it in neutral or is it going to neutral on the downshift?

It looks like the tranny sensor is bad. This happened to my friend's '04 360, until he replaced the black electronic sensor located on the transmission housing, under the engine. Remove the bottom skid panel.

Sorry for the problem. I never had the issue you described.
