    Hi
Appreciate all suggestions to restore the F1paddles on my 360 spider.. I scratched the black rubber coating on a couple of occasions (yes I have pointy fingers!) and now it's driving me insane ...

    Thanks in advance

Black rubber? I guess the Spider is different to the coupe as mine are silver.

+1. My car has CF paddles (genuine CF) and they are very nice. No concerns about them deteriorating for any reason. But, that's a more pricey route to go...

To correct this issue your options are as follows:

    1. Cheapest option is to remove the paddles, have the paint stripped, and get them powder coated in semi-gloss black. This will be durable but you will loose the rubbery feel the originals had and you will loose the UP and DOWN writing on the paddles.

    2. Send your paddles to FChat sponsor Sticky No More and he can refinish them for you but with your finger nails they will likely peel again.

    3. Use this as an opportunity to install our longer 'Challenge' Paddles in carbon fiber which will stand up to your ungloved fingers and will offer a greatly enhanced driving experience. The longer paddles are a big upgrade and you can see our 1 minute video showing the advantages here:

I'd also recommend trimming your nails a bit. ;)

That's a three days growth! I'm tapping the fingers with white tapes... Like Michael Jackson...

    I like the cf option

Dan/ raj, do you have a picture of yours? Is the 'up' longer Than the 'down' paddle?

Hey Taz I noticed you have a yellow tack with the horse logo. Did you have someone add that? I recently ordered a yellow tach from ricambi but later found out it doesn't have the logo. I've messaged a few guys how I can add this but haven't received a response.

    thanks

+1 to the Carbonio CF Paddle Shifters. I love mine too. Like everyone said, big improvement over OE. And Mark will give you a discount just for asking.

    Here's mine.

Dan- Those look great. It really surprised me how much handier they are for driving. You can use your lane changer turn signal and downshift at the same time. Plus around 90 deg corners, much easier to find the downshift paddle when you need it.

    Hi Taz,

Yes indeed. They are a very big improvement over OE. I really love mine.

    Excellent build quality.

    Worth every penny, highly recommended.
