Does anyone else get withdrawals during the weeks F1 isn't racing? I know I sure do. I'm fairly addicted to it. I even keep a tape of a race at all times incase there's nothing else to watch late at night. The sounds of the engines sooth me and help put me to sleep. And no need to say it, I know I'm nuts.

That's a pretty advanced stage of F1 addiction, I gotta say.

The winter sucks. I have the DVD season reviews on tap in case I need them. GT4 helps too.

The off weeks, there's usually WRC coverage on Sunday nights. But FIA has messed up WRC pretty badly, too.

I know what you mean, I feel the same way. That's why I love the back-to-back races.

I feel the same, we should form a support group.

also it wouldn't be so bad if everytime I change to speed channel there was something else other than NASCAR!!!!

They should have more coordinated scheduling between F1 and Champ Car for the season, so that fans can watch week after week.

For the winter, usually I get my fix by changing sports and watch NBA. This year though, I look forward to the A1 Grand Prix.

Lately with Ferrari's performance, I enjoy the first 30 minutes of the show where Peter Windsor gives us the inside info, watch the start up until the first pit stop and doze off. The SPEEDTV message boards are pretty good if you need a constant F1 fix. Also I enjoy BBC's Five Live Formula One radio show. You can get it off the BBC's website.

I go through cycles, right now F1 isn't doing much for me. Earlier this season my obcession had reached a fever pitch... just in time for Indy. That and Ferrari's lack of competitiveness has taken the wind out of my sails. Frankly F1, WRC and MotoGP has all been dull this year.

funny thread, i also find the sound of the engines very relaxing and sometimes fall asleep if i get the time to watch an old race on tape. I have some 80's races on tape including those from tracks no longer used.

Brands Hatch was a favorite of mine and hockenheim before the chicanes and deletion of the wooded straights.

No F1 withdrawal here when all I have to do is flip on SpeedTV and catch a little NBS 24/7, or This Week in Nascar, or Nascar Garage, or Dale Waltrip's Nascar Poker Challenge, or Hooters Challenge from Phukville, or...

I swear, sometimes F1 on SpeedTV reminds me of Caddy Shack at the pool, "Caddies Welcome, 1:00-1:15"

Well I'm glad to see I'm not the only one on here that just can't get enough of F1. Hopefully A1 will be able to help with the off season, I think it seems like its going to be exciting. Speed Channel has really gone down hill with all this Nascar crap. I know its whats wanted mostly in the US, damn I dont need to see 23.5 hours of left turns a day. And GT4 does help as one person stated before, but unfortunately I've already won pretty much every race and don't ever have a challange anymore...lol.

As much of a NASCAR fan I am, Speed is getting pretty rediculous. I loved it when Speed had during the week NASCAR, Speed Challenge, WRC, Motorcycles, etc., etc. Now its all NASCAR.

And yeah, PS2 also sooths me during the off-weeks too.

Oh, in the winter time, some Australian V8 Supercars gives me my fill.

The first couple of weeks are rough, then I get over it (with the help of Top Gear re-runs). Now since the talk of a winter F1 (GP2? or something) as a kind of F1 lite, there maybe hope.
