Looks fake to me. You cut the top off and there is no air intake for the engine. The intake would have to be redesigned.
And where are the shields? All F40 have shields. The headlight lenses look white, not clear like they should be.
It has no PaninFarina emblem and the dashboard above the steering wheel looks too rounded. The side mirror(s) also look weird.

    That's just a POS.

Look at the rims, totally incorrect, especially the rear. The front end/nose is also distorted.

Easiest way to always tell is the windshield. That windshield has a way to steep incline at the pillars. Would be a nice kitcar to play with if it had a roof... but then you could realy tell the car was to short.

EDIT: Below is the most accurete f40 Replica I know of. I is made from mold copied f40 pannels and cabin. The owner never clames it is real. The website with info on it in in the pic

I am pretty sure it was a lexus engine of some sort when he first built it, I havent checked up on this car in about 2 years, so it may have been changed. I was just reminded of it after seeing the replicar f40 cabrio and went to see if it was still there. I know he has alot of money in it and was offered near 300k usd for it and refused. So its no cheap replica, it an all out clone.
