I think this may be a dumb question (should have posted in the "questions afraid to ask" thread) but what is the difference between a F430 Challenge car and a regular F430? I know about the Challenge race series but is there any difference between the cars? Engine difference? Interior difference? Etc? Thanks in advance.........

    Walt,

We have a whole Challenge Car section on the forum, it is located just below the "California" car section. Just look 3 sections down from the 430/360 section you will see it. Tons of pics and information.

Yes, lots of differences!!! Roll cages, no airbags, no carpet, no cats they use straight pipes, its a whole different beast!!! By the way, they are not titled cars and as such cannot be driven on the street, besides they are not street legal.

Just a small correction here, the 430 challenge does indeed have cats...

carbon brakes, centerlock wheels, adjustable suspension, different gear ratios, lexan windshield, mechanical diff, adjustable brake bias, no traction control, air jacks, dry break fuel fitting, race seats, typical safety items.

They have no adjustable brake bias, they still run an ABS unit. And also they still run the traction control.
