Is it twice the car a 360 GT is ? Because you can buy 360GT for less than $200k.

But yes, it is tempting :D.

Seems like considerably less, these days. Try 3x the price of the 360 N-GT! But, a pretty and fun car, nonetheless. Price is high, likely, because it's still eligible for current GrandAm and ALMS racing. Not yet obsoleted.

I'd guessed 300-325 before being told the price, but I think CW is right, the price may reflect its eligibility. It appears, without having done any investigation, that the car is in good shape and has all the updates through '08.

Saw that one, too, very pretty car. As fun as it would be to drive, I just don't have a use for it. The 430 Challenge is eligible for so many events/series at the moment and the GTs - unfortunately - aren't. The 430GT is a more interesting buy for the long term, as I think Spencer points out in the ad for the white car - the white car just needs a little more "history."

The GT cars really should be encouraged to participate in the Ferrari Club's series IMO, next to them the Challenge cars look like dressed up street cars.

    +1

I was SHOCKED when I was told that GT cars are not welcomed into the ex-Challenge car club series. Frankly, I'd think they'd WANT them to attend. They have histories of running in, and winning, big races. Of course, Challenge cars with the GrandAm package are welcome. I'm still scratching my head over that one...

Those cars will probably go up in value when eligible to the new Ferrari Challenge or if there is a GT revival.

Eventually, the GT cars will certainly be eligible for the Historic Challenge. But, it'll be a while. Even the 333SPs aren't eligible, yet. However, if the 333SPs can have "exhibition" races at Historic Challenge events, why not expand them to include GT cars? They're fast enough, for sure.
