f50 question

    i stumbled upon this picture of this f50....is it really as shiny as it seems?....how about in comparison in person?...i recall watching an f50 special saying that the paint is layed on..but not shiny because of the carbon fibre...what about this f50?

    OVERHEAD FLOURESCENT BULBS do that. but a quik detail spray wont hurt either.

    More specifically... F50s wear conventional gloss paint and appear just as shiny as any new car. The difference is if you look very closely, you can see a weave texture under the paint. I found this most evident while looking at an F50 under artificial lighting in a garage a couple weeks ago. HTH.

    Very true. Normal paint over the carbon weave showing through. So that's the easiest way to see a repaint: perfect glossy smooth paint!

    Very, very difficult for a normal body shop to recreate the carbon weave, but possible. Takes talent.
