    Hi all,

I've got a "348GT Competizione" and the badge as described is fading and going yellow where it was once white.

Anyone got a good fix for this? Ordering another Competizione badge is nigh on impossible.

Can you buy paint pens or similar to do this?

    Thanks!

Part no. 95404618 is available to order at a mere £263GB. What? A little much?

Yes, you can buy white paint pens that will do the trick. Search for 'paint marker pen' on UKYahoo. They are probably about £2.63.

If you need to just infill the white portion, use some white modeling paint...then take a small cloth soaking in thinner and wipe the excess off...I did this on the rear badge of my previous 328GTS.

Hate to sound stupid, but what is modeling paint, & where do you get it?

I did the same thing. Acrylic enamel paint in tiny containers available at hobby stores for painting models.

There was a thread on 308GTB badge restoration on here......by Charness???
IIRC he used a device called a flow pen........

    Leave it alone it's patina!

Someone redid mine with yellow nail polish! Luckily, it's falling out with age.....

    Thanks guys, great info.

Yeah that GTC is a TS (or GTS), Michelotto modified for a customer. Not one of the race GTC's. Mine is a street GTC. 1/50, 1/8 RHD.
