FALL SPOTTERS...

Saw two pre-90 Mondial cabs in the last two days. A blue one in Hinsdale on Thursday and a red one in Oak Brook on Friday. Still like the looks of those.

Saw a Black 328 heading northbound on Rt 53..... Oh hey.... That was me... I will probably see that same car later this afternoon heading southbound on 53/355 too.... What an awsome day for driving, had to blow the dust out of the Tubi.....

 

Yellow LP640 on 22nd in Oak Brook and a Red/Tan F430 Spider on County Line in Hinsdale this afternoon.

 

on my way back from a delivery and saw an orange murcie near meacham and schaumburg road in schaumburg. sure made up for my two cent tip I got !

Today (Sat 16th) at 1:40 p.m. turning left to Arlington Heights road from Algonquin - maybe to go to the highway? First one I've seen being drivin and not parked in Chicago.

 

Hey Tod! I am surprised that I didn't see you while I was out and about driving today. I was in my 308. This morning, I went to see my son play in an 8:30AM soccer game in Geneva. I toook Butterfield Rd. out, and North Av. back. Lots of planes coming in and out at DuPage Airport today, too. Then later we were on Roosevelt Rd. in Wheaton-Glen Ellyn.

WOW! I didn't know that those LP640's were out already!

 

Its the one and only LP640 in the area right now. The guy got rid of his yellow Murci to get the LP and ordered a lime green LP since its too similar to his old Murci. He works right in our area Frank and drives it A LOT (and a yellow Gallardo Spyder) so I'm sure you'll be seeing it around.

 

Black Modena with a Tubi in Burr Ridge Saturday afternoon, and a yellow Barchetta in Oak Brook Sunday morning.

me to (that would be pre-89's by the way) the very first ferrari i ever drove was a 3.2 mondial at your old stomping grounds "Fox Valley Motors" good to see you are still on f-chat. lamborghini chicago still on schedule to open on time? the guys @ continental stated how difficult hinsdales city ordinance was in allowing their "remodeling" of their existing dealership. hopefully westmont is a little more lienent.

The sign out front said opening in May 2006, so its a little behind, but I think they are looking to open by the end of the year. I drive by often and the structure is up, and it looks like they are ready to do duct work soon. Hinsdale is not too thrilled to have a car dealership in their town so I am sure they make it difficult for Continental and Land Rover. Westmont is full of dealerships and enjoys the tax revenue so I would think the village is looking forward to Fox Valley's Lambo dealer opening.

Who do you deliver for? If it's food it's possible I order from there. I would definatly get you a little better than 2 cents, a lambo however, I make no promises.

 

Yep. When I was in Vegas I stopped by the Lamborghini of Las Vegas with bobleb (wonderful gentleman btw) and there was an LP640 in I believe it's called Grey Plomb, which is a color Lamborghini picked that matches their planes that are being used in the war IIRC. Car sounds phenominal. Looks very stealthy!

They also had 3 Veyrons up there.

No Frank, you are thinking of Joe who has a blue Diablo SV and the ex-Rodman silver Diablo roadster. He has his office near us too. As does Nick, another mortgage broker, who drives his titanium 360 spider with chrome wheels.
