    We have all heard the story of the Tractor builder Lamborghini, and how he became Enzo's rival...we have heard very little on the origins of Maserati and how it competed commercially with Ferrari!

    He's talking about the fact that Maserati has been around much longer than Ferrari and in fact Enzo worked for Maserati before he broke away to form his own racing team. It's all in tose history links, I'm sure. Enjoy!

    Enzo worked/drove for Alfa. Maserati is older and has a substantially longer pedigree than Ferrari. Its a shame to see what has happened the last 40 years to the original Italian front runners - specifically Maserati, Lancia and to a lesser degree Alfa.
