Sell me FXX Wheeles for my Enzo. So i'm considering painting them to match FXX wheeles, I had my car near the FXX at Wynn in Vegas and compaired them and it appers it could work, the lugs on the FXX were colored alloy of some sort, mine are painted, you could see the wear marks on Penskys lugs from the socket taking them on and off, so I would have to paint my lugs black, yellow anadozied looks terrible and it might nor be the proper metat to anadize. I'm looking onto seeing if the factory will paint them, i dont want it done by a wheel shoppe here in LA.

whats your thoughts on this idea? i think black wheeles/ yellow is great, or do you think I would like a phony putting the FXX wheeles on a plain old run of the mill Enzo?. I would appericate as many posts as possible in this thread, especially from other Enzo owners. Its going to be a big decision. I'm 70/30 % in favor of it if the factory will cooperate. thanks in advance.

On a side note is is with out a doubt my favorite of my collection to drive, the Elise/Murcilago are in 2nd place.

haha - I liked that comment!

I personally like cars with black wheels - and I think the yellow / black combo would look awesome!

I actually like some of those gunmetal wheels a bit better though. Not sure how that would look on a yellow car though.

Novitech makes wheels that are near identical to the Enzo's. Order a pair and have them painted black so you can always switch back to the originals if you get bored, or if you want to sell..

i personally am a big fan of the yellow Enzo in monaco that has black rims on it. i think it looks really cool.

i would however suggest ordering a second set of wheels that you can use as your dark pair, in case you ever want to switch back or have a seasonal thing (sounds weird, but i do know guys who are like that).

i would love to see it done and then hopefully see it someday.

A yellow Enzo with Black / Dark Grey wheels, with Yellow callipers and Yellow around the edge of the wheel (like the FXX) would look pretty nice. Makes it a bit different, i mean, there are 399 Enzo's. :) Im not a fan of modding Ferrari's, but i think my limit would be a ECU modifcation, Tubi exhausts and different wheels (as long as the werent 'bling' - i.e. Chrome).

Apparently there was a Yellow Enzo with Twin Turbos and Black wheels in the UK at a race circuit (Goodwood), but the person who told me said they didnt take any pictures (dont know how, I would).

Eric do you have a yellow Enzo? If so, I think I saw you two weeks ago driving up to the Wynn hotel. Beautiful car, I remember my wife and I were looking and admiring your car for quite a while.

You can get an extra set of Enzo wheels if you want so why not paint one set black?

If you end up doing it are you going to paint the edge of the wheel (like the red on the FXX wheel)?

Black rims with the diffusers painted yellow would look pretty damn good IMO. Even the rims painted black with a yellow line like the FXX would look pretty good. I'd say buy another set of Enzo rims and go for it! Is it just the Wynn dealer of Ferrari of North America that won't sell you the FXX rims?

Enzo looks so much better with black rims, especially the yellow one (which is also the best color for an enzo IMO).

    Great car, I'm jealous :D

I can make a set of custom rims, any size and shape you want, at my shop. If the FXX wheels are magnesium, they could be very expensive.

I've also done Titanium connecting rods as well.
