    Bob- Nice cut-away.

Is FiFi pressurized? Know the superchargers are not operational, but was not sure about cabin pressure.

As far as I know, FIFI isn't pressurized because all that equipment was removed. No need to pressurize her now anyway. I estimated that at least 1000 pounds of equipment has been eliminated from the airplane when all of the superchargers and associated stuff was removed.

FWIW, WiKi..."...the original Wright R-3350-57AM engines were exchanged for new engines built using parts from later model engines that powered the Douglas A-1 Skyraider and Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar during the Vietnam War, a custom built combination of the Wright R-3350-95W and Wright R-3350-26WD engines. Re-engine completed mid-2010.

hi - where can you get this print?

bucket list item was to fly in “Doc” the other operational B-29. Dad flew 26 missions over Japan as bombardier. Awesome experience riding in the nose.

I have the prints of any size requested. When I flew in FIFI I sat in the bombardier's position...best seat in the house.
