Hey guys, My stebros finally arrived and was wondering if any one had a DIY installation document. I looked all over and not seeing anything tangible. I have quite a bit of tools as I used to work on aircraft few years ago, well maybe not as many tools but a tad more then the basics. Nevertheless suggestions are always welcome. One thing I'm concerned is one side doesn't appear to have a flange it just has a standard smooth round end to it.

I have a 95 2.7M spider and yes the manifolds are heat treated in and out. I have the jack stands in place and ready for a week long house project.

I heard the Stebro brand was inferior to Fabspeed/Tubi but these are the best aftermarket headers I've seen. They have the proper tri-y collectors and the bypass intersections are nice and smooth flowing unlike the Tubis which are basically just shoved in at a 90* angle. I'm interested to see results.

I have yet to commence, From my visual standpoint What I can see that would have to be removed are the

    :wheels
:the lining inside the wheel wells
    :under body cover

If I'm missing something I'm really taking an inventory of what has to be remove to allow room for the Removal and installation. I hate to start and not have had the right tools for this task. Any advice is encouraged here guys.

I think you will have to pull some stuff from above (airboxes?) to help with access, but I think you have the bulk of it ready. I think they take a lot of wiggling and rubik's cube kinda stuff. They look gorgeous, good luck with the install!

It's not that diffucult. You are correct that you access everything from the wheelwells. I did mine in my driveway in one weekend. Just start unbolting stuff and you'll figure it out.

Just start undoing the nuts. Its is pretty straight forward. As you take the bolts off on the manifolds, next step is to undo the flanges at the cats. Jerk it a bit and you are done :) Take the airboxes out for more visual and you may need to anyways to force the cats forward a bit to insert the lip of the new manifolds into the cats after the manifolds are pushed tightly agains the head.

Dont need specialty tools. Wrench, sockets with the tilt piece to access the corner nuts and extension for the sockets.

Let's hope they fit correctly....seems like Robbie(285ferrari) had some issues with a set of these and he said he would never use them again.

We did this on goth's car and it went pretty easily once we removed the rear bumper. The car was on FBB's lift at about shoulder height. That really helped. Also we ended up removing the cooling fans on each side and the oil reservoir hose, but captured the oil and returned it to the tank later. With 4 guys we slammed it out.

You may want to take a look at your cv boots, if they don't look new I'd change them while you're in there. I wrestled for awhile on the passenger side to find clearance on my headers.

You are spot on with that one, buddy!! That was like trying to thread a greased alligator through the eve of a needle. When it finally came clear, all I could do was stare at it, dumbfounded.

Quite an experience. Very satisfying to complete.
