    I happened by this magazine while in Japan called "Autoworks".

    In it was this article of a 348 having the fenders sectioned and widened. Very interesting work, just like classic hotrod shops do. Seems to have some engine and suspension mods as well.

    Dont ask me to translate it, my Japanese is not that good and I dont have that much time!

    This is one thing I really respect about the Japanese owners. They are NOT afraid to mod their cars.

    I wonder about the coil-on-plugs. If an aftermarket engine management system is used or required, it would be worth researching. The cost might then be justified, whereas I don't feel it is just for throttle bodies. Will the Motronic support coil-on-plug?

    COP absolutely. One of the guys posted on how to do it I just never got around to doing it for myself. Not enough bang for the time spent. Note the ITB's! It is the way to go but all the itb's are the cost of 1.5 turbos!

    Not sure. I am still on the fence. I am thinking I want turbos but then I will need to re route the radiator to the front and get free downforce with cutout hood and run twin intercoolers in the old radiator spots then run the oil cooler on the right side and a new gearbox cooler on the left. Lots of work! I'm not sure I am up to it unless I got help! I also want to run a fuel cell in the front but I hate to have a gas bomb in the crumple zone. So I am really having philsophical problems with this. A fuel cell is just not real workable in the stock location

    What is problem with stock fuel tank location?...moving is going to upset the balance drastically and will require shock/spring/swaybar/and brake bias revamping. Put a 917 engine oil cooler(this is a biggie) in front w/hood mod...relocate a larger oil sump tank in front trunk(turbo motors need lots and lots of cool oil)....tranny cooler in front left fender(ala 355CH)....larger radiators in stock location...do not use air to air intercoolers, rather liquid to air. If you decide to go this route let me know if I can help you out.
