I've had my Cali for over a year and still can't figure out how to release the rear seats to fold them forward. Can someone please offer advice?

    It's quick two-step process...

Step one - Open your trunk and find this vertical tab and pull, there are two tabs, one for each side. Step two - Pull the leather tab to release the seat back. Once you close the seat back you'll have to repeat the process to put it back down.

Open the cargo-bay, you see 2 light blue (as far as I remember) cranks at the bottom, one at the left third of the bay, on at the right. This cranks are for release. After that you are able to pull at the clips on the backrests.

    Good luck ;-)

Thanks guys for the advice. I never noticed those tabs. I'll look as soon as i get to where the car lives.

Just don't pull on the leather tabs without first flipping the lever in the trunk... the stitching isn't that strong.

Great post! I (with assistance from the mrs.) tried for well over an hour, even going so far as to read the damn manual, which was useless. While at the dealer I remembered to ask the salesman (thanks Gary!) and he showed me the "trick". So simple once you know how.

Thanks for finding this I guess my search terms were useless. Then to my horror I still could not find the latches until I noticed that both plastic mounts were broken and were just laying underneath the pull down fabric for the roof. Oh well, off to the dealer.
