I'm not familiar with the area. Are there any good roads to take the Ferrari on, no potholes or a lot of traffic etc.

Talk to Hardtop. He knows the lay of the land. I drove his 328 GTB on some of those roads and they were as good as it gets in this part of the country.

    Jeff,
I lived here since '92. There are some good roads. PM me and we can hook up.

Careful, Hardtop's definition is slanted. He lives on a dirt road, so pavement is a luxery to him!

You haven't lived until you have driven a 430 with the tail out on dirt looking for traction!

Highway 83, South from Franktown to Colorado Springs. It's 40 or 50 miles of 2-lane highway with some great high-speed sweepers and arrow-straight stretches for speed. Few cops patrol the road, and you can usually see quite a ways in front of you. Traffic is usually at a minimum, but it's an absolute blast to reel cars in and pass them. I used to travel this route daily in my 328 or 911, even though it added 15 miles to my commute. Good stuff.
